Barry Hilton
Hailing from the North of England, Barry is a highly sought-after artist whose pieces are frequently acquired by collectors. He holds five to seven solo exhibitions annually in the UK and his artwork can often be seen at renowned galleries such as Whitewall Galleries, Demontfort Fine Art Galleries, and various Independent Galleries across the country. In addition, his creations can also be found on P&O and Cunard Cruise Ships.
Inspired by the landscapes and coastal areas of the Northwest, he often travels to Cornwall where he resided for 3 years. His artistic style has been honed over time, featuring meticulously painted skies juxtaposed with heavily textured foregrounds.
Utilizing a wide range of shades, colour serves as a powerful means to interpret a given setting. From bold reds and yellows to despairing greys, deep indigo blues, and sombre greens, the vivid hues lend depth to the work. Rather than simply mirroring the landscape's true colours, the piece captures the imaginative prowess of a truly artistic mind.
